The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (8-9, 3-5 MIVA) is set for two more conference matchups this week, first taking on Purdue Fort Wayne (9-9, 3-6 MIVA) on Friday before heading to Muncie, Ind. for a tilt with No. 13 Ball State (14-7, 7-1 MIVA) on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. CT.

- Lindenwood picked up two more wins last week, knocking off Quincy and Erskine, respectively.
- The Lions currently own a three-game winning streak.
- The win over Quincy was Lindenwood's fourth sweep of the season.
- In the win over Erskine, Clay Wieter hit .542 with 16 kills.
- With his performance, Wieter earned MIVA Offensive Player of the Week honors.
- Owen Walsh has played well since entering the starting lineup, which continued last week after averaging one block per set across both matches.
- Lindenwood continues to lead the MIVA in assists with 12.36 per set.
- A big reason for that is Connor Sheehan who tops the conference averaging 11.05 assists per set.
- Lindenwood and Purdue Fort Wayne will meet for the first time this season as the two teams split their matchup last season.
- The Lions will be looking to even the season series with Ball State as the Cardinals picked up a five-set win on February 10.
- The Cardinals enter the weekend ranked 13th in the AVCA Polls.
- Head coach Joe Kosciw enters his seventh season at the helm of the program and his 11th at Lindenwood.

2024 OUTLOOK
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team currently has 11 matchups against ranked teams on its 2024 schedule. The squad was picked to finished sixth in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason Poll earning 41 points. Lindenwood returns key pieces to their lineup for 2024, including
A.J. Lewis,
RaShawn Bonner, and
Ian Schuller, who all garnered all-conference honors a year ago. Lewis was named to the preseason all-MIVA team for the upcoming year. Last season, Lewis led the team with 39 service aces and was second on the team with 249 digs.
