MURRAY, KY. – On Friday and Saturday, track and field partook at the Margaret Simmons Invitational hosted at Murray State University. The Lions had a strong showing, placing first on the men's side with 148 points, and on the women's placing third with 118 points. On the men's side of the meet, Lindenwood placed first in six events and placed first in both the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter. On the women's side of the meet, the Lions placed first in one event and second in five events.
