ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Head coach
Will Condon announces the addition of volunteer assistant coach Tara Beilsmith to the 2024 women's volleyball staff. Beilsmith joins the program after being a standout player at Ohio Valley Conference opponent Southeast Missouri State.
"We are excited to have Tara join our program," said Condon. "Her knowledge of the OVC and what it takes to be successful at this level will be invaluable going forward."
A Weldon Spring, Mo. native, Beilsmith graduated from SEMO this past fall in 2023. She was a five-year starter for the Redhawks and earned All-OVC honors four times during her career.
In back-to-back season in 2022 and 2023, she was named the OVC Defensive Player of the Year at the libero position. In her career, she posted over 3,000 digs (3.035) including a career-high 797 during her final season.
She led the Redhawks to three OVC Championships and made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament. She ranked first in the NCAA last season in total digs and second in digs per set (6.38).
Beilsmith is currently coaching for High Performance in St. Louis. She will help the Lindenwood program by coaching the liberos. For more information on all things Lindenwood women's volleyball, go to lindenwoodlions.com.
