The Lindenwood men's volleyball team comes in at No. 16 in the latest AVCA/NVA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball Poll, up three spots from last week. The Lions received 108 total points in the poll.
Lindenwood went on a magical run to the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Tournament (MIVA) Championship before falling to then No. 11 Ohio State, 3-1 this past Saturday. This marked the first championship game appearance for the Lions in program history.
During the 2024 season, the Lions accumulated 16 wins, the most since 2014. Of those 16 wins, seven came against ranked opponents. The Lions entered the MIVA Championship game on an eight-game win streak.
A.J. Lewis and
Ian Schuller led the way for Lindenwood, recording 14 kills. Lewis and Schuller both landed second team all-conference honors along with
Connor Sheehan and
Clay Wieter.
