Nat Hubert To Coach At The Soccer Tournament In Cary, N.C.

Hubert will lead Raleigh Rebels FC for the second year in a row

CARY, N.C. – Lindenwood men's soccer assistant coach Nat Hubert will lead the Raleigh Rebels FC as their head coach at The Soccer Tournament (TST) in Cary, N.C. starting on June 5th. Hubert's team will compete against 47 other clubs for a chance to win $1 million dollars.
 
TST held their inaugural tournament last season in 2023 where Newton Pride FC was crowned champions. During the first season, 32 teams were in the field and was expanded to 48 this season. Raleigh Rebels FC made it to the Sweet 16 last season where they fell to Zala FFF in overtime by a final score of 4-3.
 
Hubert's squad will compete in Group I during the opening round of the tournament. Other teams in this group include Hashtag United, Manhattan Kickers FC and Summer of Soccer. Their opening round matchup will start at 1:00 p.m. CT on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. ET against Hashtag United.

Teams will compete in a seven-on-seven format during the competition and is regarded as one of the biggest small sided soccer events in the world. World-renowned clubs including Bayern Munich (Germany), Inter Milian (Italy), Wrexham (England) and Villarreal (Spain) will all have teams competing. Professional athletes including Pat McAfee, JJ Watt and Chad Ochocinco will all be supporting clubs at the TST.
