Box Score The Lindenwood women's volleyball team took on its second straight ranked opponent on Friday night. The Lady Lions fell this time by scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-20 to No. 8 Washburn.
Washburn won with its defense, recording 13 blocks and 52 digs in the match. The Ichabods held the Lady Lions to just a .009 hitting percentage. Washburn's offense meanwhile made just 12 hitting errors in the game and it hit just under .300.
Anna Reichert led Lindenwood's defensive effort with 15 digs.
Jessica Krygsheld and
Kayla Guyot each had a team-high eight kills to pace the offense.
Lindenwood will stay on the road tomorrow with a contest at Emporia State.
