Lawson Veit and Kenzie Yates won individual titles and four other earned top three finishes at the Midwest Open December 13-14 at the Sheels Center in Springfield, Illinois.

Veit earned his championship in the Freestyle Professional Adult Male competition, earning the first pro title of his career. Yates hoisted her trophy in Freestyle Limited Recurve Adult Female.

In other action, Piper Colantone finished second in the Bowhunter Freestyle Adult Female competition with Paige Fraser taking seventh. Easton Gregg took second in the Adult Male Freestyle Championship while Ashton Probus finished second in the Freestyle Limited Recurve Adult Male competition with Payton Willeford right behind him in third.

After a month-long break, archery will host the Lindenwood Open January 11 at the St. Louis Bowhunters Club in St. Charles, Missouri.
