Archery earned multiple podiums individually and in team competition at the USA Archery Collegiate Target North Regionals April 11-13 in Harrisburg, Illinois. Seven Lions finished in the top three, as did a trio of mixed teams and three Lindenwood squads. Four Lions also received All-Region honors.
Individually,
Ashton Probus won the Olympic Recurve-Male event with
Peyton Willeford taking second.
Kenzie Yates finished second in the Female event. In Barebow-Men,
Lawson Veit was the champion with David Hollenburg taking third. Piper Colantone won the Fix Pins-Female competition and
Cody Mosley finished third in the Male event.
In Mixed Teams,
Peyton Willeford and
Kenzie Yates combined for the win in Olympic Recurve;
Cody Mosley and Piper Colantone took the title in Fixed Pins; and David Hollenburg and
Sydney Nelson finished second in Barebow.
Ashton Probus,
Peyton Willeford, and
Andrew Thompson combined to win the Olympic Recurve Men's Team event; David Hollenburg,
Lawson Veit, and
Hunter Powell finished second in Barebow Men's Team; and
Brianna Hayes,
Peyton Willeford, and
Cody Mosley took third in the Mixed Equipment Team shoot.
Lindenwood All-Region recipients included
Cody Mosley in Fixed Pins, David Hollenburg in Barebow,
Kenzie Yates in Olympic Recurve, and
Peyton Willeford in Olympic Recurve.
Archery will wrap up its 2024-25 season at the USA Archery Collegiate Outdoor Target Nationals May 15-18 at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan.
