Archery earned a second-place finish in the collegiate team standings and two Lions claimed podium finishes at The Vegas Shoot March 5-9 in Las Vegas. After 240 arrows, Lindenwood totaled 2230 points and 107 X's to finish 29 points and three X's behind event champion Texas A & M University. The University of Rio Grande took third with 2180 points and 107 X's.
Cody Mosley
Cody Mosley won the Collegiate Bowhunter event with a score of 594 (X=38) to edge a tie for second by just four points.
Hunter Powell finished fifth with 581 points (X=15). The other podium came from
David Hollenberg who took second in the Male Recurve Barebow event. He totaled 478 points (X=0), 39 points behind the winner.
Lawson Veit and
Gage Kellett each posted scores of 599 in Male Compound competition, just missing the top four by a single point. Veit's performance was highlighted by a perfect 300 score and 30 X's in round two, but Kellett officially finished fifth (X=53) with Veit in sixth (X=52).

In other Lindenwood results, Piper Colantone finished 13
th in the Female Collegiate Bowhunter event with 570 points (X=13) and MicahLynn Meyer took 18
th with 513 points (X=8). In Female Collegiate Recurve Barebow,
Sydney Nelson was the top Lion in sixth place with 399 points (X=1).
Hailey Moore was right behind in seventh with 399 points (X=0).
Katie Wondell finished 10
th with 194 points (X=1).
Kenzie Yates took 11
th in Female Collegiate Recurve with a score of 513 (X=6) and
Sarah Jungmeyer was 19
th with 475 (X=2).
In Male Collegiate Recurve,
Ashton Probus led Lindenwood with 559 points (X=16) to finish sixth.
Peyton Willeford totaled 525 (X=6) to take 11
th. In Female Collegiate Compound,
Hallie Sellers took 24
th with a total of 581 (X=23) and
Brianna Hayes finished 27
th with 574 points (X=18).
After a weekend off, archery returns to action at Outdoor Regionals March 22-23 in Harrisburg, Illinois.
