The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA) has announced several Lions as recipients for awards from the 2025 Division I and Division AA National Championships.
Forward
Jackson Wozniak, defenseman
Bennett Blake, defenseman
Luke DiPasquale, and goaltender
Chase Christopher were all named Division I First Team All-Tournament.
Jack Wedoski earned Division I Second Team All-Tournament recognition. DiPasquale was also named tournament Most-Valuable Player and Wozniak received the Playmaker award.
Five Lions were named Division AA First Team All-Tournament including defenseman
Brett Lloyd, forward
Shaun Sapienza, goaltender
Connor Hof, forward
Dillon Bilek, and defenseman
Colin Markotay.
Andrew DeCiantis earned Division AA Second Team All-Tournament recognition. Sapienza was also named Division AA Most Valuable Player and Bilek received the Playmaker award.
Both the Division I and Gold AA squads won NCRHA national titles in early April. The Division I Lions outlasted Grand Canyon University 2-0 in the championship finals to claim their 13
th crown in program history. A day later, the Gold team defeated Slippery Rock AA 6-1 to earn their fourth title in a row and 18
th overall for the program.
