Shotgun sports secured its 19
th title in program history with another dominating performance at the ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championships concluded March 21 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. Competing against the top collegiate programs in the nation, the Lions claimed the prestigious DI High Overall (HOA) crown by breaking 2,889 targets out of 3,000, topping second place Schreiner University by 21 targets. It was a historic performance highlighted by record-breaking scores, multiple team podium finishes, and 28 individual awards.
One of the most remarkable achievements of the week came in the American Trap team competition. The Lions won it with an impressive seven perfect 100 scores from
Anna Rawe,
Jacob Diller,
Christopher Diller,
Vanessa Donato,
Wyatt Baine,
Tyler Marshall, and
Aidan Master. This performance not only broke a Lindenwood program record but also set a new ACUI national record. Officially, the Lions claimed the team title with a score of 500 for the event, finishing six targets ahead of Texas A & M and seven targets ahead of Georgia Southern, Jacksonville University, and Schreiner.

Lindenwood continued its dominance across the other five disciplines, earning the title of Doubles American Trap Team Champions with a score of 490, 16 targets ahead of second place Schreiner (474) and 20 targets ahead of third place Jacksonville University (470).
The Lions finished second in Super Sporting Team competition with a score of 482/500, coming just two targets short of first place Schreiner with 484. Georgia Southern took third in the event with 479.
Lindenwood claimed third place in the Sporting Clays Team event with 442, just three targets behind Jacksonville University in second and six targets behind Texas A & M in first. The Lions also finished third in American Skeet Team competition with a score of 495. After tying with Schreiner for second, the Mountainers won the tie-breaker 303-254. The Aggies won the team title with a score of 496. Lastly, Lindenwood claimed third in the Doubles American Skeet Team event with a score of 480, finishing four targets behind Georgia Southern and Schreiner. The Eagles ultimately won the competition in a tie-breaker.
In addition to the team success, Lions athletes earned 28 individual awards, showcasing the program's depth and talent across all classes.
In Sporting Clays,
Lauren Louzader was named Women's C Class Champion, while JJ Â Ralston earned Men's B Class Runner-Up. Grace Corelli placed third in Women's A Class, and
Matthew Lorio took third in Men's AA Class.

Super Sporting competition included
Wyatt Newby winning the Men's B Class Championship, with
Tyler Marshall finishing as Men's C Class Runner-Up.
Vanessa Donato earned Women's B Class Runner-Up, while
JJ Ralston and
Rocky Romo added second and third place finishes in Men's B Class.
In American Trap,
Anna Rawe and
Jacob Diller each captured AA Class Championships, while
Vanessa Donato placed second in Women's A Class.
Wyatt Baine took third in Men's A Class, and Brad Philips finished as Men's B Class Runner-Up.
The Lions continued their success in Doubles American Trap. Brad Philips (Men's B Class) and
Ben Warwick (Men's AA Class) were crowned champions.
Sage McKeough won the Women's AA Class title, while
Anna Rawe and
Tyler Marshall each earned runner up finishes in AA Class.
Vanessa Donato and
Jordan Ziercher added runner-up finishes in Women's A and Men's A Class.
Lauren Louzader earned a third-place finish in Women's B Class Doubles American Skeet.

A defining moment of the championship came during the American Trap competition when
Jacob Diller delivered a showstopping performance, shooting an extraordinary 325 shoot-off targets to claim High Men's American Trap. On the women's side,
Anna Rawe demonstrated equal composure under pressure, shooting 150 targets in her shoot-off to secure High Women's American Trap. These performances highlighted the grit, endurance, and elite skill that defined the Lions championship run.
Lindenwood also excelled in High Overall (HOA) individual honors.
Grace Corselli was named Women's HOA Champion and also claimed High Women's Super Sporting.
Matthew Lorio finished as Men's HOA Runner-Up. Additional top honors included
Anna Rawe as High Women's American Trap and
Jacob Diller as High Men's American Trap.
Tyler Marshall further distinguished himself as the Combined Trap Events Men's Champion, adding to the team's impressive list of accolades.
The 2026 ACUI Collegiate Clay Target National Championship victory marked another milestone in the storied legacy of Lindenwood shotgun sports, demonstrating excellence, consistency, and a continued standard of collegiate dominance.
