Shotgun sports captured its second straight national title at the Collegiate Clay Target League Nationals event November 1-2 at the Brittany Shooting Park in Bunker Hill, Illinois. Not only did the Lions claim the top Champion Team score, they also won the Event Champion title.

Tyler Marshall beat 243 other athletes with a score of 199/200 to claim the Gold Medal in the Male Division. Marshall,
Anna Rawe,
Wyatt Baine,
Sage McKeough, and Alexander New had a combined score of 982 to finish 10 targets ahead of runner-up Lakeland College.

Six different Lions earned individual medals as well.

Fall season conference awards were also presented at the event. Lindenwood won Conference Seven First Place Team Average and in the Female Division,
Chloe Anderson finished second while
Sage McKeough finished third.
The Collegiate Clay Target League Nationals event wrapped up the fall campaign for shotgun sports. The Lions will return to the range in February for the NSCA Jack Links Cup in Okeechobee, Florida with sights set on claiming another ACUI Collegiate Clay Target title in March.
