The No. 13 Lindenwood baseball team (29-7, 25-7 GLVC) will enter the GLVC Championships as the top seed in the Blue Division.

The GLVC Baseball Championship Tournament will take place on May 13-16 at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo. The Lions will take on Missouri S&T at 4:00 p.m. in the first round of the tournament.  Lindenwood concluded the season with the second-best overall record in the GLVC, as Illinois Springfield led the league with an overall record of 34-5.

The Lions are led offensively by
Mitchell Krebs, who is batting .412 with 25 RBI and 27 runs scored.Â
Beau Collier is posting a .360 batting average, and is tied for the team lead with 15 stolen bases.Â
Alex Canty (.316) and
Bryce Beckmann (.314) have each hit 10 doubles, while Beckmann has crossed the plate 37 times to lead the team. As a team, Lindenwood is hitting .314 with 85 stolen bases. The Lions have drawn 174 walks, and compiled 228 RBI.

On the bump, the Lions are boasting a 3.72 ERA as a unit.Â
Niko Marshall is holding a 2.12 ERA with a 4-1 record in his 29.2 innings of work.Â
Blake Beckmann is leading the squad with a 6-1 record on the mound, as his 61 strikeouts to just seven walks has led to a 3.02 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched.Â
Tyler Cassmeyer is a perfect 5-0 this season, as the Taos, Mo. native has a 3.04 ERA.

Kyle Hentis continues his strong career in 2021, as the Red Bud product is 4-2 this season with a 3.64 ERA in 42.0 innings pitched. The Lindenwood pitchers hold a 5.3 strikeout-to-walk ratio, and have held opposing batters to a .261 average through 36 games.
Later this week, the NCAA will release the national and regional rankings, while the GLVC will announce all-conference selections.
