The University of Michigan – Dearborn outshot women's ACHA ice hockey by a four to one margin 56 to 14, but
Erica Didocha kept the Lions within shooting distance for most of the game with 51 saves in a 5-1 loss Saturday afternoon at the UM – Dearborn Ice Arena in Dearborn, Michigan.
The Wolverines did take a 1-0 lead early in the contest at the 1:21 mark, but it took another 20 minutes of game time before they scored their second at the 1:14 mark of the middle frame. Lindenwood was called for roughing at 4:30 and that led to a power play goal from Michigan – Dearborn at 5:19 and a 3-0 lead. The Wolverines added a fourth goal at even strength with 5:54 remaining in the period.

Kirsten Martinez at 10:20 to make it 4-1 Wolverines. Lindenwood was called for body checking later in the period resulting in another power play goal from Michigan – Dearborn at 16:53.
The Lions went scoreless on three power plays and gave up two goals on six man-advantage chances for the Wolverines.
With the loss, Lindenwood falls to 0-12 on the season. After a three-week break, the Lions return to the home ice for a single game in Women's Midwest College Hockey (WMCH) action December 6 against Maryville. The puck drops that Saturday at 9:10 p.m. at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
