Women's ACHA ice hockey played two periods of scoreless hockey but gave up three goals in the final frame in a 3-0 non-conference loss to the University of Michigan – Dearborn Friday night at the UM – Dearborn Ice Center in Dearborn, Michigan.

Erica Didocha turned away all 31 shots she faced in the first 40 minutes and Lindenwood had chances to score on the power play. The Wolverines were called for holding at 10:11 and for tripping at 17:40 of the second, but the Lions were unable to get the puck in the cage.
Michigan – Dearborn broke through early in the third with even-strength efforts at 2:35 and 6:53 to lead 2-0 and a roughing penalty on Lindenwood led to the third goal on the power play at 10:32. The Lions had a four-on-three power play at 13:11 but once again could not find the back of the net.
The Wolverines outshot Lindenwood 48 to 18 overall and Didocha stopped 45 of the 48 pucks she faced in the loss. The Lions went scoreless on four power plays while yielding a goal on seven man-advantage chances to Michigan – Dearborn.
Lindenwood is now 0-11 on the season. The Lions will go for the series split Saturday afternoon with the opening faceoff scheduled for 1 p.m. EST at the UM – Dearborn Ice Arena.
