Evi Allerding combined to make 214 saves in a three-game series against Midland University in Women's Midwest College Hockey (WMCH) action September 19-21 at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Despite the heroic efforts, the Lions were shutout by the Warriors 10-0 on Friday, 7-0 on Saturday, and 6-0 on Sunday.

Midland took charge of the contest on Friday in the opening minutes scoring an even-strength goal and power play goal by the 1:33 mark. The Warriors added another man-advantage score and two even-strength tallies to make it 5-0 after the first period. They struck three more times in the second frame and twice in the third, the final goal coming on another power play, for the final 10-0 margin.
Midland outshot Lindenwood 74-10, but Didocha made 64 saves in the contest. The Lions went scoreless on two power play chances while yielding three goals to the Warriors on six man-advantage opportunities.
Allerding faced 70 shots in the 7-0 loss on Saturday but turned away 63 of them to give Lindenwood a chance. After a four-on-three goal gave Midland a lead at 6:49, the Warriors added two even-strength goals to lead 3-0 after one period of play. Midland scored once in the second and three times in the third, the final score once again coming on a power play.
Midland outshot the Lions 70-11 and scored twice on five man-advantage chances while Lindenwood had three power play opportunities.
In the series finale on Sunday, Didocha made 87 saves on 93 shots but only gave up two power play goals in the first two periods. The Warriors pulled away from the Lions with four goals in the third.
With the three losses, Lindenwood begins the 2025-26 campaign 0-3 overall and in the WMCH. The Lions return to the ice for three games September 26-28. Lindenwood hosts Adrian at 9:10 p.m. Friday night, then faces Miami (Ohio) University at 9:40 p.m. Saturday night and at 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon with all three contests taking place at the Centene Community Ice Center.
