Lindenwood Rugby is proud to announce that two members of its men's rugby program—Connor Devos (Class of '25) and Alejandro Martinez Tapia (Class of '24)—have been selected to the USA U23 All-American team set to tour South Africa this summer.

The touring squad, organized by the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA), features 30 of the top collegiate and emerging players in the country. Nineteen of the selected players came through CRAA's All-American identification process, highlighting the growing strength and reach of college rugby in the United States.

Devos, a powerful tight head prop, and Martinez Tapia, a versatile and physical loose forward, were key contributors to Lindenwood's recent success at the national level. Martinez Tapia has also gained professional experience this year with Anthem Rugby Club of Major League Rugby, earning meaningful minutes in MLR competition and further solidifying his status as a rising talent in American rugby.

The tour will run from June 23 to July 13, with players based at Boland Agricultural High School. The USA U23 team will face three strong South African sides:

• July 3: WP Rugby Club Invitational (Cape Town)
• July 8: Boland Kaveliers (Wellington, Western Cape)
• July 12: Stellenbosch University (Stellenbosch, Western Cape)

The U23 All-American program serves as a critical link in the USA Rugby high-performance pipeline, exposing athletes to international competition and national team standards. Selection to the squad is a notable step in the development of future senior Eagles.
